Dogs at Weddings: Madeline & Daisy

As an important member of the family, our dogs are starting to take a starring role in our weddings. According to pet charity Blue Cross, 1 in 10 British couples will be having their pooch at the wedding, while more than 25% said their pet would help keep wedding nerves under control.

Described by Madeline as incredibly food-focused and lazy, Daisy helped make their wedding day even more special by escorting her owner down the aisle.

Having lost both her father and her grandfather, Madeline couldn’t think of anyone better to walk her down the aisle than Daisy.

“Daisy is a big part of our family and I wanted her to be part of our special day.” Said Madeline. “Daisy is important to me because she’s such a loving and kind soul. She’s there for both of us whether we want to celebrate or need some extra snuggles. She’s a delight to be around.”

The now 5 year old corgi wore a floral bow tie collar with matching lead for the occasion, and took part in the wedding photos.
